The Q Center wants your books. We are collecting books, primarily gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender titles. We are hoping to improve our lending library here at the center. We will be accepting books now through the month of June. In July we will have a book sale of all the extra books from the collection. This is a great way to help our community and ensure books get recycled to other readers.The Kitsap County HIV AIDS Foundation is joining Lifelong AIDS Alliance in the 16th Annual Dining Out For Life on Thursday, April 30, 2009! Dine at a participating Kitsap County restaurant on this evening and 30% of your meal cost will be donated back to the Kitsap County HIV AIDS Foundation in support of our services.
Now in its sixteenth year, Dining Out For Life has become a community tradition. The last Thursday of every April, over 150 restaurants from across the region come together in support of the fight against HIV/AIDS.
